This fine aroma fair trade Nacional organic cacao has been carefully fermented to deliver an earthy deep flavor profile. The Nacional cacao bean profiles can consist of a variety of influences from the Criollo, Forastero, and Trinitatario cacao trees. This cacao is grown by small family famers in the Esmeraldas region of Ecuador. 
 
All of our ceremonial grade cacao offers a rich supply of antioxidants, minerals such as calcium, magnesium, iron, and zinc, and unique compounds that have been shown to boost energy levels and feel-good brain neurotransmitters. Our low-temperature, stone ground process of our cacao ensures that our paste retains the original nutrition found within the whole bean.
